Dr. M.H.M. Munaseek is a Sri Lankan physician and education leader who chairs two higher-education institutions and presides over the Ceylon International Medical Council & Association.
Dr. M.H.M. Munaseek, MD read medicine at the State Medical University in Belarus and built on it with an MSc in Clinical Psychology, a BSc in Exercise & Sports Science, a postgraduate diploma in Psychiatric Studies and diplomas in Ayurvedic medicine, Homeopathy, Allopathy and Sports Therapy — eight formal qualifications spanning conventional and complementary medicine.
He leads the Institute of World Academy (IWA Campus) — main campus at Maruthamunai with its head office in Colombo — and the College of Health Science Medical Campus (CHSMC). Their convocations have filled the BMICH in Colombo six times since 2016, most recently the sixth convocation on 25 March 2026.
As President of the Ceylon International Medical Council & Association (Ceylon IMCA) and President of Al-Mathaniya Arabic College, he works with partner institutions in Panama, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and India — including the University of Santander, Bircham International University, the College of Nursing Education & Training, Medc Pro International Academy, Tamil University Thanjavur and Saegis Campus.
Beyond the campus he serves as Secretary of the National Women Association – Sri Lanka, founded the Beyond Care Association as Director, and remains active in public life — organising the All Ceylon Makkal Congress in Gampaha District from 2015 to 2019 and later the Nawalanka Freedom Party.

Consultancy & early career
Served as a consultant to the Ceylon Sugar Corporation while deepening practice across allopathy and the complementary systems — Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Sports Therapy.
Public life (2015–2019)
Organizer for the All Ceylon Makkal Congress in Gampaha District from 2015 to 2019; later an organizer for the Nawalanka Freedom Party.
Institution building (2016– )
Founded and chairs the Institute of World Academy (IWA Campus — Maruthamunai, head office Colombo) and the College of Health Science Medical Campus; the first convocation was held at the BMICH on 02 January 2016.
International network (2020– )
Campus visits to AMiT (2020) and Tamil University, Thanjavur (2021); AYUSH conferences in Kerala and Dubai (2023); collaborations with universities in Panama, Canada, Australia and the UK; presides over the Ceylon International Medical Council & Association.
